Sh. Sushil Singh is Special CEO, Disaster Management and Special Commissioner (F&S) Govt. of NCT, Delhi.

He is a seasoned civil servant & public policy professional with an experience of over 20 years in wide-ranging issues in both State/UTs and Government of India. He joined Civil Services in 2002.

He has served in various Administrative capacities with recent being Secretary of Power, Food & Civil Supplies, IT, Labour and Law department in the UT of Lakshadweep, before taking up his current assignment in DelhiGovt. He has also served as PS to Union Minister in Govt of India.

Sh. Sushil Singh is a graduate from University of Delhi. He did his PG in Journalism from Indian Institute of Mass Communication and has a Masters degree in Mass Communications as well. He worked in Print Media with organizations like -The Tribune, Press Trust of India (PTI) as Sub Editor & Correspondent before joining Civil Services.

Having served in GNCT of Delhi, UT of Daman Diu & DNH, Lakshadweep, Govt of India and Civic bodies like MCD, He has rich experience of policy making, conceptualization, design and development of schemes & programmes at highest level. Some of his other previous assignments include Sub Divisional Magistrate, Deputy Collector, Joint Labour Commissioner, Joint Secretary IT, Addl. District Magistrate, Deputy Commissioner & Director Education South MCD, Director Tourism, Secretary Industries, Panchayat, Information and Public relations, Art & Culture etc.
